It’s no secret that I hate the Internet, and the future. Everyone is always so quick to tell me that it’s time to embrace it or die, and I tell everyone to suck it. Seriously, I say the phrase “suck it” quite a bit in conversation, but never is it more deserved than when looking over the annual reports for the respective entertainment industry sectors from 2007.

Video Games: $7.4 Billion
Box Office: $9.63 Billion
Music Sales (everything): $10.3 Billion
Radio (ad sales): $21.3 Billion
DVD/Home Video: $24.3 Billion

And Finally…

Books: $35.69 Billion
